Service description

Our website serves as an information system for creditors. It comprises a public area with various functionalities. General functions are available, such as contacting us, debitplus GmbH, by message.

Applicable requirements

The accessibility requirements arise from the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG), in particular from Section 14 BFSG in conjunction with Section 3 (1) BFSG, as well as from the underlying ordinance to the BFSG. This website is only partially compliant with the requirements of the German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance (BITV) 2.0 in conjunction with EN 301 549 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.

Non-accessible content

No content in German Sign Language (DGS) or in Easy Language is available. Some images have missing or inadequate alternative texts. Keyboard operation is not possible throughout. Navigation and interactive elements are not sufficiently prepared for screen readers.

Keyboard operation

Form areas can be reached using the keyboard. Use the Tab key to navigate between the interactive elements. The active focus is highlighted by a clearly visible outline. Drop-down menus and selection lists can so far only be operated with a mouse.

Legible fonts and sufficient contrast

The website is designed using color combinations that ensure sufficient contrast between text and background. In addition, easily legible font sizes and typefaces are used to make the content as accessible and comfortable to read as possible for all users.

Simple navigation and clear structure

The website content is clearly structured. The main navigation is located at the top of the page and provides direct access to all key sections and functions. The central area of the page displays the information and forms relevant to the current page. At the bottom of the website there is an additional overview of the most important menu items and functions. Below this is the footer with legally relevant information and further links (e.g. legal notice, privacy policy, accessibility statement).

If you have submitted a request regarding the accessibility of our website using the contact details above and no satisfactory solution is found within a reasonable period (usually four weeks), you can contact the office responsible for the enforcement procedure: the Office of the State Commissioner for the Inclusion of People with Disabilities (enforcement body) at the Saxon State Chancellery. The enforcement body supports out-of-court dispute resolution where conflicts arise between public bodies in Saxony and users of websites or mobile applications. This conciliation procedure is free of charge. Legal representation is not required.
